Born in 1998 in Marche-en-Famenne, Valère Burnon is an internationally renowned pianist. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Liège and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, Valère perfected his art at the Accademia "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola as well as at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo, studying with famous teachers such as Marie-Paule Cornia, Florence Millet, Leonid Margarius, Frank Braley and Avo Kouyoumdjian.

As prizewinner of many prestigious competitions, including the Épinal International Piano Competition, the Bremen European Piano Competition, the Long-Thibaud Competition and the Viotti Competition, Valère has captivated concert halls across the world, including Liège, Cologne and Luxemburg Philharmonies, the Salle Cortot in Paris and the Studio 4 of Flagey (Brussels). He also performed with the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, the Sinfonia Varsovia, the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metz and Milan Symphony Orchestras.

Through his rich and varied repertoire, Valère Burnon dazzles with his passionate and detailed interpretations, as well as with his great musical maturity in constant search of vocality and expression. He has also collaborated on several albums that illustrate his deep desire to offer pieces by lesser-known composers, both classical and contemporary.

As a chamber music assistant at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Valère shares his expertise and passion, thereby inspiring the next generation of musicians.
